LILI II: Masterfully crafted by Archambault Boats in 2007 with a bespoke design for George Andreadis. This racing legend dominated top regattas for over a decade before making its triumphant move to Thessaloniki in 2022. Now, it conquers the Aegean and Mediterranean’s premier events with unstoppable prowess.
The iconic Archambault A40RC was born for IRC racing in 2003—a demanding beast that demands respect. As Herb McCormick raved in 2009: “There’s a reason some builders call their boats ‘cruiser/racers,’ while others flip it. The A40RC puts the racer first—full stop.”
This powerhouse boasts a jaw-dropping 20-year legacy in elite competitive sailing, crewed by world-class pros. It’s one of the fastest, most thrilling offshore racers on the planet—designed with zero compromises for pure racing dominance. The Archambault A40RC still battles for top honors in mixed fleets today.
LILI II is a high-performance
Archambault A40RC racing yacht proudly based in Thessaloniki.
LILI II embarked on its journey in 2022 with a dedicated crew of passionate amateur sailors, competing in top-tier offshore regattas across Greek waters. Ever since, the team has been pushing boundaries, expanding its presence in major sailing events throughout the Eastern and Central Mediterranean.
The team’s main competitive focus is on top-tier offshore regattas scored under handicap rating systems, common in mixed-fleet racing.
As a result, the yacht has competed in and achieved notable results at Greek
and European ORC championships, as well as in numerous major regattas across Greece.
Below is a representative snapshot of our team’s recent racing activity.

From day one, the LILI II team has been synonymous with innovation. Drawing on the proven fundamentals of traditional Farr 30 design and building on the latest advances in performance sailing, we developed an evolved new concept that we named the Farr 30 evo.
Since 2014, the team has been exploring how the boat looks and “feels” across different fleets and wind conditions, leading to an extensive period of modifications (2015–2016). The sail plan was completely redesigned with a modern square‑top main, and a 2‑meter carbon bowsprit was engineered and installed to replace the spinnaker pole, enabling much larger asymmetric spinnakers and delivering massive gains on reaches and downwind legs. The transformation was completed with matching upgrades to the deck layout, rigging, and sail inventory, giving the yacht a new level of performance and control.
Our goal has always been to sail faster and faster, to push the limits and explore the extremes. Farr Yacht Design formally adopted our configuration as the new standard for the Farr 30 class in 2016, confirming that our approach had genuinely moved the performance needle.
On its new boat, the team already has a clear roadmap of modifications and fine‑tuning in the works, aimed at making LILI II even more competitive and securing a leading‑role position in top‑tier offshore racing for years to come.

LILI II is supported by a range of sponsorships that help fund its ambitious racing program and keep the boat competitive in high‑performance offshore regattas.
While each regatta places significant demands on the budget, maintaining large yachts to the latest technical standards and covering the costs of transporting them to remote events dramatically increase funding needs in competitive sailing. LILI II therefore relies on dedicated sponsors to cover a substantial part of the following requirements for its 2026 racing season.
Like any pure‑blooded racing machine, LILI II is a dynamic advertising platform, whether it’s racing on the open sea or moored in the marina.
Sponsor visibility is continuous. Their logos are showcased to fellow competitors at prestigious sailing events, as well as to visitors and spectators in high‑tourist destinations where these regattas are held—always during peak tourist season. At the same time, the yacht receives significant exposure through media coverage of each event.
Sponsor logos can be displayed in prominent positions on our state‑of‑the‑art yacht, including on the hull, sails, elevated flags, and on the crew’s clothing and onboard equipment.
Beyond on‑site branding and standard photo coverage, LILI II is equipped with onboard cameras and drones that capture the race from every angle—inside and around the yacht. All this footage can be provided free of charge to the sponsor, so they can use it to feed their marketing channels, social media, and promotional campaigns.
The LILI II Sailing Team is continuing strongly into 2026 with entries in top‑level national and international regattas, raising the bar further in competitive performance and media exposure.
Strategic participation in these flagship offshore regattas strengthens the LILI II brand and delivers high‑value sponsorship exposure through targeted visibility, a strong racing presence, and positive media coverage.
